NATIVITY
Proclaim the birth of Jesus Christ
to the world.
NATIVITY is a five-episode audio series of the story of Christ’s birth featuring professional actors, sound effects, and a cinematic score. Episode 1 will be released on December 1, 2020, with the remaining episodes following, leading up to Christmas. Your contribution will fund paid social media campaigns to give the series away as a free gift—which is a way of proclaiming the birth of Jesus Christ to the world.

How will my contribution make a difference?
Your Christmas contribution will fund distribution* of NATIVITY on social media (through paid social media ads). Click the DONATE button below to give from $1 to $1,000 or more—depending on how many people you want to share the Christmas story with this year. Every dollar you give will pay for an average of 20 social media views and two downloads of the Nativity series. A contribution of $100 will pay for 2,000 views and 20 downloads. If you're more comfortable contributing on Kickstarter, we're also running a campaign simultaneously on that platform. Visit our Kickstarter page here.
Initially, we’ll promote the series through paid campaigns on major digital platforms (such as Facebook, Instagram, Google, and YouTube). We will also work with influencers, bloggers, podcasts, and other digital organizations to drive traffic. Based on donations, we may initiate additional paid marketing through traditional media channels. Between direct social media advertising and organic sharing, our goal is for at least 1 million people to download and listen to the series by Christmas Day, 2020.
*The entire series has been recorded and edited. A portion of donations will fund completion of sound effects editing and completion of the soundtrack.

AudioStories has been established to provide inspiring audio dramatizations of fiction and non-fiction, historical narratives, scriptural accounts, and children’s stories—in a way that engages minds and hearts. Listening to well-written, well-produced, morally-responsible dramatizations allows people to use their imaginations to “fill in the blanks.” When that happens—as it does with good books—the story naturally becomes relevant and makes a difference in people’s lives.

AudioStories and us.
In July of 2020, the AudioStories team woke up to a startling reality. This year, because of the pandemic, the world won’t have the usual opportunities to hear and tell the Christmas story—in public concerts, plays, sing-ins, and candlelight services. With that in mind, the team—an outgrowth of WarnerBoothe— asked “How can we fill the gap and bless the world?” The answer to that question was NATIVITY.
For nearly 20 years now, the team behind NATIVITY have contributed to the most-watched Christmas specials on PBS (Christmas with the Tabernacle Choir). The centerpiece of these annual programs has been an original or newly adapted Christmas story, presented by world class performers including Tom Brokaw, Jane Seymour, Hugh Bonneville, Kristen Chenoweth, the Sesame Street Muppets, and many others (view samples of their performances here).
The AudioStories team includes producers, writers, composers, performers, and engineers who have worked together on a variety of creative endeavors over twenty years. David Warner and Ross Boothe, founding partners, continue to provide consulting to major organizations in the areas of media, technology, music, live performances and events, tourism, education, and multi-cultural outreach. They are the creators of major live productions and films, a groundbreaking app called StoryMedia (for user-generated marketing by Adobe, Canvas LMS, Broadway’s “Dear Evan Hansen,” and others), and the Everyone Leads initiative.
